Portable Milking Machines

For cows, goats, and sheep in small herd and mobile milking applications

Oil Lubricated Portable Milking Pump

Portable Milkers & Vacuum Pumps

If you are milking a small number of animals, typically up to 10, a portable milker is a simple and effective solution. Designed for cow, goat, and sheep applications, these systems provide everything needed to milk efficiently without the need for a full parlour.

Each system is built as a compact, self contained unit, with all essential components integrated into one setup, including the vacuum pump, reservoir, regulator, pulsator, milking cluster, and bucket. Systems can be supplied as a basic cart or configured into a complete milking unit, depending on your requirements.

Portable milkers are also widely used beyond small herd milking, making them a practical tool in a range of situations, including:

  • Fresh animals for colostrum collection

  • Sick or treated animals requiring separate milking

  • Show animals at fairs or exhibitions

  • Backup milking when a main system is unavailable

  • Temporary or mobile milking setups

Vacuum Pump Options

Portable milking systems are available with either a dry vacuum pump or an oil lubricated vacuum pump, depending on the application. Dry vacuum pumps are a simple, low maintenance option. If you are milking a few small ruminants such as goats or sheep in a dry environment, the dry pump is often suitable. Oil lubricated vacuum pumps provide increased performance and durability, and are typically recommended for cow applications or higher demand use.

Portable Milkers and Vacuum Pump Configurations

Built to Match Your Requirements

Portable milking systems are available in a range of configurations, from basic units to fully equipped systems depending on your application.

Each system is configured specifically for the animal being milked, whether cow, goat, or sheep, with pulsation rate and ratio set to ensure proper milking performance and animal comfort.

Common configuration options include:

  • Single unit systems for milking individual animals

  • Dual cluster setups for increased efficiency

  • Plastic or stainless steel bucket options

  • Cow, goat, or sheep milking configurations

  • Different vacuum pump sizes based on usage requirements

Vacuum pump size, airflow capacity, and system layout can be selected based on the number of animals being milked and the specific requirements of your operation. This allows each system to be matched to your setup rather than using a one size fits all approach.
