Greenoak's Automatic Take-Off System (Automatic Cluster Remover) is designed to improve efficiency and consistency in goat and sheep milking parlours. By monitoring milk flow, the system automatically removes the milking unit at the appropriate time, helping prevent overmilking, protect udder health, and reduce operator workload.
Both the Milk Monitor ACR and Meter Monitor can control automatic take-off, including pulsation and stimulation functions that adapt to different stages of milking. The Meter Monitor also offers additional capabilities, including milk production recording when connected to a Milk Meter, and integration with herd management systems.
Compatible with herringbone, parallel, rapid exit, and rotary milking systems, Greenoak's Automatic Take-Off System provides a flexible solution for new installations and upgrades to existing parlours.

Components
Meter Monitor & Milk Monitor
The Meter Monitor and Milk Monitor ACR both provide automatic take-off control for goat and sheep milking systems. The Milk Monitor ACR offers pulsation, stimulation, and milking control, while the Meter Monitor provides additional functions when paired with a Milk Meter, including individual milk production recording, animal identification information, and integration with feeding, sorting, and herd management systems.
Take-Off Cylinders
Greenoak's Take-Off Cylinders use a double pulley system to gently retract the milking unit once the vacuum has been shut off, ensuring smooth and consistent removal at the end of milking. Choose between the robust Stainless Steel Vacuum Cylinder and the AutoStart version, which features an integrated switch that automatically initiates milking when the operator lifts the milking unit, reducing manual steps and saving labour during milking.
Milk Sensor & Vacuum Shut-Off
The resistive Milk Sensor monitors milk flow and sends feedback to the Milk Monitor ACR, allowing it to automatically adjust stimulation and initiate the take-off sequence as milk flow decreases. Unlike the Milk Meter used with the Meter Monitor, the sensor does not record milk production. The integrated vacuum shut-off stops vacuum to the milking unit before it is gently retracted by the take-off cylinder.
Control Valve and Pulsator
Greenoak's Control Pulse Valve MK2 is designed to function as both a Control Valve and a Pulsator, providing a versatile solution for milking and parlour automation systems. Replacing the LE30/MK1, LE20, and CV20, the MK2 simplifies installations, reduces spare parts inventory, and can be installed vertically or horizontally to suit your system.
